Dearborn, Mi. — On Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at approximately 10:20am, Dearborn police officers responded to the 3600 block of Harding Street on a report of two children that had been shot. Dearborn Police and Fire arrived on scene and began rendering aid to the victims, both three years old who were transported to Hospital. A preliminary investigation revealed a toddler in the home accessed a handgun and the weapon discharged. Both victims are listed in critical but stable condition at this time.
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “This is a tragedy that affects the entire community and we wish the best for the victims involved.”
