CVPD is issuing a Traffic Advisory for Today September 28th 2017, due to the "Imagine Dragons" concert at Mattress Firm Amphitheatre.

Heavy traffic is expected before the concert on the southbound lanes of I-805 to Main St. due to the additional concert traffic and rush hour traffic. Heavy Traffic is also expected on Main St. from I-805 to the Amphitheatre.

If you live in the area or need to go somewhere in this area, CVPD suggests you use alternate routes to access that portion of Main St. that will be impacted by the concert traffic.

Your safety and security are most important to us. If attending the show, be prepared for inspection as you enter the facility including physical pat downs, metal detectors and bag searches. Please arrive early and allow ample time to enter. Take advantage of the venue’s express entry lanes, such as “Fast Lane” (skip the line program requiring all fast lane ticket) and “No Bags Express Lane” (no bags or purses to inspect), and carry only those allowed items that are necessary. Traffic is expected to start around 5 pm and last until around 1 am.

Alternate routes to the venue include:

· South Bay Expressway (toll road) to Otay Mesa Rd.
· I-5 South to 905 East to 805 North and exit Main St
