Attention Rutgers Community:
The Rutgers Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault which was reported to have occurred on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at approximately 5:20 PM on Delafield Street, between Courtland Street and Bristol Street, in the City of New Brunswick.
In this incident the victim, who is affiliated, reported that he was at a party inside of a private residence when he was assaulted by several males following a verbal altercation. The incident continued onto the front porch of the residence as the victim fled the area. No weapons were used in this incident and the victim received treatment for non life threatening injuries at a local hospital.
