Attention Cape Canaveral Residents:

Flooding prompts Countywide Request to Conserve on Sewer Usage 

BREVARD COUNTY, FL. – Due to the excessive rainfall experienced across Brevard County, and in order to avoid sewer overflows, backups into homes or discharges into the Indian River lagoon, residents countywide are asked to limit sewer usage.

Residents are asked to reduce sewer usage, especially flushing toilets, doing laundry and long showers. Limiting usage will help reduce the chances of backups into residents’ homes and into the streets and river.
