Brevard County Sheriff's Office Announces Sandbag Distribution Sites 
BREVARD COUNTY, FL. -- With the forecast of additional rain over the next 24 to 48 hours, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will be distributing sandbags today, Thursday Oct. 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and tomorrow, Oct. 6, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until supplies are depleted. The distribution site will be located across the street from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Jail Complex, located at 860 Camp Road in Sharpes. This location is the former Brevard Correctional Institute property and BCSO staff will be on site to direct motorists. Each vehicle will be limited to 10 sandbags. The sandbags will be prepared and loaded in your vehicle for you at no cost.
