Burglary/Theft Arrests
(Etowah County, Alabama) Two individuals have been arrested in connection to the theft of several guns, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Ronnie Lawson Miller, 39, and Ronnie K. Humphries, 59, both of Albertville, were arrested and are each charged with one count of third degree burglary, one count of second degree theft of property, both are felonies, and one count of third degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor,” Lt. Robin Grant said.
The duo allegedly broke into a residence on Highway 278 West, Walnut Grove, and stole a 20 gauge semi-automatic shot gun, 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun, .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun, .40 caliber semi-automatic carbine rifle and a .22 caliber rifle. The gun safe was also damaged during the burglary.
To date the 20 gauge semi-automatic shot gun, .22 caliber rifle and .40 caliber semi-automatic carbine rifle have been recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
Both Miller and Humphries are currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $20,000 bond each.
