* At 817 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists estimated that 1 to 4 inches of rain has fallen across parts of southwest Troup County. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain will be possible in the warned area over the next few hours. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lagrange, West Point, Hogansville, Mountville, Cannonville, Big Springs, Louise, Abbottsford, Smiths Crossroad and Long Cane.
* AFFECTED AREAS: TROUP
