On the evening of October 7, 2017, at 7:45 pm Morgan Hill Police Officers responded to the area of Denali and Scotts Bluff Drive on a report of a firearm being discharged out of a vehicle.
Officers arrived and contacted witnesses who advised that a vehicle was driving recklessly in the area. Pedestrians yelled at the vehicle to slow down and the vehicle immediately stopped and the driver fired two rounds out of the driver’s window and sped off, last seen southbound towards Edmundson Ave. Officers located a spent shell casing in the middle of the street. There were no injuries reported and no signs of anything being struck by the bullets.
The vehicle is described as a silver, newer model, 4 door Ford Focus. The Morgan Hill Police Department is looking for information associated to this reckless behavior, anyone with information is asked to call Detective Tacazon at 408-779-2101.
