Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult that occurred on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 on the 300 block of West Pondera Street, Lancaster.

Detectives have learned that at approximately 9:00 P.M., Lancaster Station deputies responded to the location regarding a “gunshot victim” call. Upon their arrival, they located the victim who had suffered at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no suspect description at this time.

The murder weapon has not been recovered.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
