October 11, 2017 - Chief Jones, Office Givens, and Officer Bryan followed up on a tip which alleged that Karlos Fransaw was attempting to sell narcotics in the area of Rockdale and Washington Street. Based on past narcotics investigations conducted by the Trinity County Sheriff's Office and Trinity Police Department, that area has been identified as renewed high crime areas where narcotics are being sold.
Fransaw was subsequently arrested and charged with felony deliver of a controlled substance (Ecstasy). It's particularly upsetting that these ecstasy tabs seem to be designed and geared towards children.
PLEASE talk to your children about the dangers of narcotics abuse and use.
