Receiving Stolen Property Arrests
(Etowah County, Alabama) Two individuals have been arrested in connection to receiving stolen property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Jonathan Dale Turner, 31, of Gadsden, and Anamae Nicole Perez Beltz, 24, of Ohatchee, were arrested and each charged with one count of first degree receiving stolen property, a felony,” Deputy Josh Gaskin said. Turner and Beltz also face various other charges.
Deputy Gaskin conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Turner near the intersection of Anderson Road and Old US Highway 411, Gadsden. When running the verification number for the 1997 Grand Marquis, dispatch confirmed the vehicle had been stolen out of the City of Gadsden. Beltz was a passenger in the vehicle.
While being handcuffed Turner tried to throw a bag of an illegal substance in an attempt to dispose of it. During a search of the vehicle, drug paraphernalia and suboxone were found inside.
Turner is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center without bond.
Beltz is currently being held in the Detention Center on $6,000 bond.
