...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM
EDT THIS EVENING...
* TIMING...Mainly between 9 AM and 6 PM.
* WINDS...Winds will turn northwest through the morning behind a
passing cold front and rapidly increase in speed. Gusts to 40 to
45 mph are expected into much of this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Driving can be difficult...especially for high profile
vehicles on east-west roads. Loose outdoor furniture can take
flight. Localized power outages are possible, especially along
the Lake Michigan shoreline.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Wind Advisory means that winds gusts to 45 mph are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
