Press Release: Albion Public Safety has determined though preliminary autopsy findings that William Gillham 84 of Albion died from drowning in the Kalamazoo River on Saturday. At this time there is no evidence of any foul play involved in the 84 year old Albion residents death. Initial findings indicate he had only been in the water a short time when he was discovered by a group of kayakers around 1:40 PM Saturday afternoon. ADPS detectives are still following up with witness and anyone with information is asked to contact D/Sgt Nicole Wygant at 517-629-7824.
