As the work continues on the new roundabout, the time has come for the first major shift in the traffic patterns on Cedar Lane.

Beginning at 7AM Tuesday, October 17th, new line striping and single lane restrictions will be installed. In the morning hours, traffic direction will be established by safety teams using flags and hand-held signage. This will permit the installation of two temporary traffic signals that will be positioned on Cedar Lane. One Temporary traffic signal will be near the entrance to Pinnacle Trucking and the other will be toward the bottom of the whirlybird overpass. The temporary traffic signals will be activated beginning in the afternoon hours following the morning setup and testing. These traffic signals will allow only one lane of traffic to flow on a single lane of Cedar Lane for the duration of the project. This is important to note since traffic direction will alternate on the single lane of the road for the duration of the project.

This final phase of the project involves demolition of portions of Cedar Lane, elevation and reconstruction of the new road surface, curbs, lights, and drainage improvements.

At this time, weather permitting, the project is still on schedule for completion in mid-November.
