Armed Robbery – 3500 Block of Oakland Ave 
On October 16, 2017, at 4:40 pm, the Shorewood Police Department responded to an armed robbery/carjacking in the 3500 Block of N Oakland Ave. At that time, the victim involved in the incident was inside an underground parking structure and was walking towards the entrance of the building when they were approached on foot, from behind, by three unknown suspects. The suspects implied they had a handgun and stole victim’s vehicle. The suspects then fled from the scene in the stolen vehicle and were not located.
There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
No other details are available at this time and the incident is under investigation.
