TAILGATING CURFEW IN EFFECT:

Tailgating will only be permitted from 4 - 7 PM on Saturday. All lots will remain closed until 4 PM, so please plan accordingly. Tailgate parties are not permitted to take up more than 1 parking space. No trailers, boats, planes, hot tubs, volcanos, kiddie pools, portable bars, beach sand, tents, food trucks, or large portable grills will be permitted.

We are expecting a near capacity crowd for Jimmy Buffett at Mattress Firm Amphitheatre Saturday night. Traffic on all freeways southbound towards the Amphitheatre, especially I-805 and Auto Park Drive leading to Mattress Firm Amphitheatre, will be quite heavy mid-afternoon and evening as construction near the US-Mexico border has resulted in some lane closures.

Given the very large fan turnout expected, venue officials strongly urge fans to take note of the following information:

Your safety and security are most important to us. Be prepared for inspection as you enter the facility including physical pat downs, metal detector wanding and bag searches. Please arrive early and allow ample time to enter. Take advantage of our express lanes and carry only those allowed items that are necessary.

LAWN TICKET HOLDERS:

Chairs will not be allowed in the venue. Small blankets will be permitted.

ARRIVE EARLY TO AVOID MISSING ANY OF THE SHOW!

Heavy traffic is anticipated at and around the venue for this show. Fans are strongly encouraged to arrive at venue early to help avoid traffic delays.

Fans are also encouraged to check traffic patterns before getting on the road in order to better plan their route. Go to: www.sigalert.com and www.511.org for up to the minute traffic information.

The venue parking lots will open at 4 PM. Gates will open at 6 PM. The show will begin at 8 PM.

Directions to Mattress Firm Amphitheatre & Traffic Tips:
From the North: 805 south, Exit Main Street/Auto Park Drive. Proceed east approximately 3 miles and Mattress Firm Amphitheatre will be on your right hand side at 2050 Entertainment Circle, Chula Vista, 91911.

If traffic is backed up at the Telegraph Canyon Road or Olympic exits:
Stay to the left until you get close to the Main Street/Auto Park Dr. exit.

If traffic is backed up at the Auto Park Dive exit:
Drive past the Auto Park Drive Exit and exit at Palm Ave. (one exit south). Turn left and cross over the freeway, then turn left again on to the I-805 North. Then exit at Auto Park Drive.

Carpooling is also crucial. The small difference between four versus three people riding per car results in thousands of fewer vehicles on the road, greatly streamlining traffic and parking, not to mention reducing harmful exhaust emissions.

STAY HYDRATED:

At Friday's concert, stay hydrated and help us reduce waste. Show your love for the environment on Saturday; recycle your bottles and cans - and refill your (non-metal/non-glass) water bottles at free water stations.
