FREE POLICE DEPARTMENT DOCUMENT SHREDDING EVENT 11/4 IN THOUSAND OAKS #ThousandOaksPolice
There were 15.4 million Identity theft victims in the USA in 2016. You have a 1 in 9 chance of it happening to you.
With the Equifax data break we are sure to see those number jump substantially higher in the future. Part of the strategy to defend against ID theft is document shredding. The Thousand Oaks Police Charitable Foundation, Thousand Oaks Police Department and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Foundation are hosting a FREE document shred event on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center (1375 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks). Bring your important documents. It is free and it only takes a couple minutes of your day that can save you a life time of headaches and frustration.
