Board of Water Supply (BWS) is responding to a 12-inch main break on Kalanianaole Hwy., between Nenue St. and West Hind Drive.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area as the road is flooded in the west-bound direction. Police officers are diverting traffic around the break site. The BWS is meeting with State and City agencies to discuss traffic mitigation measures.
The break was reported shortly before 6 p.m. Alternate water sources will be provided for the approximately 45 customers who will be without water during repair.
