Homicide Investigators arrest Crystal Greene for the murder of her 2 1/2 year old son

LOCATION: 10300 block of Wintergreen Rd., Pinon Hills
SUSPECT: Crystal Greene, 30 years old, resident of Pinon Hills
VICTIM: 2 ½ year old male
SUMMARY:
On Friday, October 20, 2017 at 4:16 p.m. medical aid responded to the residence for a report of a drowning. Medical aid arrived and transported a 2 ½ year old boy to the hospital. Despite efforts by responding medical aid and hospital personnel, the child was pronounced deceased at Desert Valley Hospital. Emergency room doctors requested a law enforcement response after determining the child had not drown and was suffering from numerous injuries.
Sheriff’s Homicide and Crimes Against Children Investigators responded and conducted the investigation. Following their investigation, including an interview with Crystal Greene, Investigators arrested Greene for the murder of her son.
Children and Family Services were contacted and took custody of Greene’s three other children who were living in the home.
