• Periods of rain to continue this afternoon into tonight across eastern Upper/northwest Lower. Light rain will spread back into northeast Lower this afternoon.
• Additional rainfall from noon today through Wednesday morning of up to 1 inch west of the I-75 corridor in northwest Lower...around 0.50 inch eastern Upper...and 0.25 to 0.50 inch east of I-75 in northeast Lower.
• Northwest wind gusts to 45 mph expected along northwest Lower Michigan shoreline through midnight before winds diminish overnight. Wind gusts near 40 mph expected from the northwest expected to develop along Whitefish Bay later this evening... diminishing Wednesday morning.
• Watch for flooding in low lying areas near rivers and in poor drainage areas. Rivers continue to rise and not expected to crest until later Wednesday.
• Some power outages possible due to winds. Saturated soils may also make some trees more susceptible to toppling over.
