Good Wednesday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Tuesday, 10/24/17.

-1900 blk Black Gold Rd, Levelland: Recover Stolen Vehicle. Deputies were dispatched to the area related to a suspicious vehicle. During the investigation it was determined to be stolen from Lubbock County. Following the investigation the vehicle was towed from the scene to be released to the owner.

-6300 blk Maine Rd, Anton: Burglary. Deputies were notified of a burglary offense at a residence in the area. A television was reported stolen from the residence. The scene was processed and the matter is under investigation at this time.

-100 blk Mandy Circle, Opdyke West: Noise Complaint. A deputy responded to a reported noise complaint in the area. The area was checked and the loud noise had ceased prior to arrival. No other complaints or calls were received.

-100 blk Avenue T, Levelland: Assist Levelland PD. Deputies assisted in checking a residence in the area. No offenses were reported.

-200 blk Cypress, Levelland: Assist Levelland PD. A deputy responded to assist in locating a suspect at a residence. One individual was located, and later transported to the jail. Levelland PD is working that case.

-400 blk N. Cedar, Levelland: Suspicious Activity. A deputy was dispatched to locate an individual walking in the area. The individual was contacted and found to be an employee doing work.

Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols throughout the county, investigative follow-up activities, and civil process service.

Jail population as of 10/25/17 at 0800 hours: 50 in Hockley County, 5 to be processed, 13 out of county.
