On October 24, 2017, Giles County Sheriff’s Department took a report of a stolen utility trailer from Quick Stop Gas Station on Columbia Highway. During the investigation, investigators located the trailer at 150 Strip Mines Road at the residence of Chadwick Stanford.
Mr. Stanford was arrested without incident and charged with Theft over $1,000. The investigation continues, and additional arrest are forthcoming in the case.
Sheriff Kyle Helton would like the citizens of Giles County to be observant. Utility trailer thefts across the county are on the rise.
