Prescription Drug Take-Back is tomorrow October 28th from 10:00 am to 2 pm at Sanbornton PD, 565 Sanborn Road.

Once again, the Sanbornton Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in an effort to collect and properly dispose of unused/expired prescription medications.

On Saturday October 28th, 2017 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, any medications can be brought to the Sanbornton Police Department (565 Sanborn Road) for proper disposal, no questions asked.

It has been proven that improperly discarded medications have devastating effects on the environment, especially groundwater. Also, these medications can often get into the hands of children or others who will abuse them. The Drug Take-Back initiative has collected tons of medications since its inception in 2010, and the Sanbornton Police Department has been proud to be a part of it.
