The precautionary boil water alert is still in effect for all Farmington Hills residents and businesses located NORTH of I-696. 
Repairs to the water main break on 14 Mile Road are completed and testing of the water is underway as the system is being restored to normal operations. The water will be cleared for consumption following the second of two consecutive samples taken 24 hours apart that test negative for any contamination.
Until further notice, the precautionary boil water alert is still in effect for all Farmington Hills residents and businesses located NORTH of I-696. Bottled water continues to be available for those affected with proof of residency from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the Costick Center, 28600 W. Eleven Mile Road.
