At approximately 1753 hours, the Sebastopol Police Department received multiple 911 calls reporting an injury collision that occurred on South Main Street, between Fannen Avenue and Walker Avenue. Sebastopol Police Officers arrived and ascertained that a large SUV had struck several parked vehicles. The last parked vehicle struck by the SUV was occupied by a 61 year old female, who sustained injuries from the collision.
During the course of the investigation, Officer Aguilar developed probable cause to arrest the 23 year old driver of the SUV, Forrest Dean Castle, for felony driving under the influence resulting in a collision with injury. Castle was transported to and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility.
The 61 year old female occupant of the parked vehicle was transported to the Sonoma West Medical Center for emergency medical treatment.
