Full Notification

On Sunday, October 23rd 2017, at about 11:20 P.M., Anderson Police responded to the area of North Street and State Highway 273 for a reported collision involving a man and a train. Police have not positively identified the man, who was observed laying in the tracks by the conductor and engineer of the involved Union Pacific train. Anderson Police located the man upon arrival and determined that he was deceased. The coroner was called just after midnight.
