The suspect is still outstanding in the Stabbing on Aue rd in Norton Shores. K9 tracked the suspect from the area.

Stabbing/ Breaking and Entering
The suspect in the Aue rd. stabbing is still being sought and believed to have left the area. Officers tracked the suspect with the use of a K9 out of the neighborhood heading east. The offender dropped the weapon at the scene and is believed to be no longer armed but still considered dangerous. Officers will continue to patrol neighborhoods and are following up on Silent Observer tips. The Police department is requesting assistance with reporting any suspicious persons in this area and if anyone saw a person matching the below description today.
All school personnel and students were escorted safely from Ross Park Elementary without incident.
The suspect was described as a male, medium build, wearing a mask, unknown race, black zip up hoodie, and jeans.
The victim is a 23 yr old female and is in stable condition.
