Evansville Police are investigating a double murder. Police were called to 213 E Maryland for a report of shots fired around 10:30 on Monday night.
Officers arrived and found two victims inside of the home. Both were taken to local hospitals, but neither survived their injuries.
The victims were identified by the Vanderburgh County Coroner as Dewone Broomfield (29) and Mary Woodruff (28).
