APD Conducts Halloween Sex-Offender Sweep 
On October 31, 2017, officers with the Anderson Police Department conducted a sex-offender compliance operation in the City of Anderson. Officers contacted nineteen registered sex-offenders and confirmed they were in compliance of the terms and conditions of their registration requirements.
The operation resulted in the arrest of two of the offenders, Jeremy Bingham, age 39 of Anderson, and Rodney French, age 58, of Anderson. Both French and Anderson were arrested on active misdemeanor warrants for their arrest.
Two offenders were found to have moved or otherwise found to not be in compliance with their registration requirements. The compliance team officers will file charges with the Shasta County District Attorney, seeking a warrant for these individuals.
In addition to the sex-offenders arrested, the compliance team officers arrested Alicia Bailey, age 25, of Redding, on an active felony warrant for her arrest.
