Multiple methamphetamine labs in a house with children present.
On November 1, 2017, Tennessee Probation and Parole Officer’s contacted narcotics investigators with the Giles County Sheriff’s Department about a probation search at 132 Short School Road. Investigators went to the residence and determined that the remains of six separate methamphetamine labs were present. Living at the residence were six adults and six children. The children ranged in age from infant to teen. Department of Children Services was contacted and removed the children from the residence. Investigators placed a quarantine on the residence. Giles County Office Emergency Management and Giles County Sheriff’s Narcotics Division processed the methamphetamine labs.
Kurt Allen Brymer was arrested and charged with Initiation and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $26,000. The case is still under investigation. Additional arrest and charges are forthcoming.
