With the weather changing and a winter storm approaching, the dedicated men and women of the Ripon Police Department would like to remind residents to please slowdown in the rain to help keep everyone safe.
California Vehicle Code section 24400 (b) CVC requires you to activate your headlights if you are using your windshield wipers.
If you are driving a vehicle equipped with automatic headlights, you may need to manually turn on the headlights.
Drive slowly, drive safely.
