Join us for this free, eye opening presentation, learn about the trends, how to prevent, and understand the behaviors that lead to drug abuse. It's a growing epidemic all over the Lehigh Valley. As the heroin and opioid epidemic continues to grow, families, treatment providers, law enforcement, community leaders and policy makers search for ways to tame it.

The supply of heroin has never been GREATER!
The cost of heroin has never been CHEAPER!
The potency of heroin is STRONGER!

…. It’s a perfect storm for this opioid epidemic.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN FROM THIS EVENT: We have a drug epidemic! ● Warning signs. ● There is no TYPICAL user. What can I do with unwanted prescriptions? ● Addiction is a brain disease. MISCONCEPTIONS: 
-I am an elementary parent… It doesn’t fit the age group. (It most certainly does…)
-We have good kids… Family… I don’t think it’s going to come to our house. (It very well may!)
-We have honor students and athletes, some not even old enough to drive. (All kids can be vulnerable…)
-Not my problem… not my issue… my kids are good! (Even good kids are at risk.)
