(Etowah County, Alabama) A Boaz woman was arrested and charged in connection to the illegal use of a debit card, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

“Rebecca Lynn Anderson, 42, of Boaz, was charged with one count of illegal possession/use of a debit card, a felony,” Lt. Robin Grant said.

Anderson admitted to taking and using the victim’s debit card at a local store. She and the victim were acquaintances.

Anderson is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $1,500 bond.
