The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department holds an annual Clothe A-Child program to help underprivileged children in our city. The event helps unite the community and police by combining our resources to bring cheer to children who would otherwise have gone without.This program not only provides the material gift that makes Christmas special, but even more important it provides an opportunity for our employees to spend the day with the children developing friendships and changing attitudes about the police and our role in the community.
Members of the 2017 IMPD Clothe-A-Child Committee are now taking orders for Christmas Poinsettias, Wreaths and Swags. Each poinsettia is only $12, wreaths are $25 and the swags are $15. All of the proceeds from this special event will benefit our Department's 32nd Annual Clothe-A-Child Community Outreach Project.
To help make it more convenient for you to place your order, we have attached an order form for your use. Your support of this very important fundraiser always plays a vital part in our efforts to share the IMPD Christmas Spirit with some of the less fortunate, yet very deserving children from each of the six IMPD service districts.
Simply print the order form (attached) and follow the directions. We will have pre-ordered flowers ready on Wednesday, November 29th. You can pick them up any time after November 29th through Friday, December 8th, 2017.
