One man arrested for gunpoint robbery at 3200 block of Olive Ave., in Altadena. 
Deputies arrested one suspect and sought another after they allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint in Altadena early Friday.
The crime unfolded just after 1 a.m. as the victim was sitting in his car in the 3200 block of Olive Avenue, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Mark Slater said.
Two men brandished a handgun as they robbed the man of his property, the lieutenant said. They fled in a White Ford Explorer.
A patrolling deputy spotted an SUV matching the description of the robbers’ vehicle heading down Marengo Avenue and followed it into Pasadena as additional deputies and Pasadena police officers responded to provide backup, according to the lieutenant. The SUV made several quick turns, then pulled into a driveway in the 200 block of Flower Street. Both the driver and passenger jumped out of the SUV.
Deputies quickly caught and arrested the driver, but the passenger managed to escape, Slater said. Authorities searched the area with the help of a K-9, but the second suspect was not found.
Items stolen from the victim during the robbery were recovered at the scene, he added. No gun was found.
Terrell Neal, 23, was booked on suspicion of robbery.
