Good Wednesday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Monday, 11/13/17, through Tuesday, 11/14/17.
11/13/17
-6900 blk Elephant Rd, Smyer: Theft. A deputy met with a complainant regarding the theft of a portable building from his property. A report has been filed and the matter is under investigation.
-1500 blk Arnett, Ropesville: Stolen Vehicle. A deputy was dispatched to the area related to an abandoned vehicle. The deputy confirmed the vehicle was stolen from Lubbock County. The vehicle was released to a wrecker service after notifying the agency in Lubbock County.
-FM 2646 at Hwy 114, Levelland: 911 Hang-up. A deputy responded to the area related to a 911 hang-up call. The area was checked and the caller was not located. No additional calls were received.
-FM 3261 at Hwy 114, Levelland: Suspicious Person. A deputy was dispatched to the area to locate an individual walking along the roadway. The area was checked and no one was located. No additional calls were received.
-300 blk Maurer, Anton: Threat. A deputy responded to a reported threat at a residence in the area. It was determined there was a verbal disturbance, but no offenses were reported. Parties were separated.
11/14/17
-FM 168 at Foster Rd, Ropesville: Suspicious Vehicle. A deputy responded to a call regarding a vehicle parked along the side of the road in the area. The area was checked and the vehicle was gone prior to arrival of deputies.
-2300 blk Sunrise Ln, Levelland: Alarm. A deputy was dispatched to an alarm in the area. The area was checked and found to be secure. No offenses were observed or reported.
Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols throughout the county, investigative follow up activities, and civil process service.
