Arrest of 21 year old Jonathan Ocampo-Espinal for Drug sales and weapons charges

On Monday November 13, 2017 San Luis Obispo Police Detectives served a search warrant at the Mustang Village Apartments in the City of San Luis Obispo. Detectives had received information that 21-year-old Jonathan Ocampo-Espinal was believed to be engaged in the sales of illegal drugs from his residence in the apartment complex.
During the search of Ocampo-Espinal’s residence, Detectives found over an ounce of cocaine, a loaded semi-automatic handgun, several bags of various weights of marijuana, and approximately four and a half grams of heroin. Several other items of evidence consistent with drug sales were also found in Ocampo-Espinal’s residence. Ocampo-Espinal was arrested and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail with the following charges:
H&S 11351(a) Possession of Cocaine for sale
H&S 11359(a) Possession of Marijuana for sale
H&S 11370.1(a) Possession of a Loaded Firearm with Controlled Substances
H&S 11350(a) Possession of Heroin
Ocampo-Espinal’s bail was set at $50,000.
