Help prevent Catalytic Converter Theft.

Catalytic converters can be stolen in minutes. Make sure to park in well-lit areas or in your garage and set your vehicle security system to activate with just the slightest motion. Having the vehicle identification number etched on to the converter may prevent thieves from stealing it and taking it to a scrap yard. Having a mechanic weld the converter to the exhaust system can also help prevent it from being stolen.

In addition to the above, catalytic converter theft prevention devices can be purchased. They are designed to protect your converter, making it more difficult for thieves to steal.
