Main Street in Chula Vista Closed both directions from Melrose to the 805 freeway due to fire. 
The Chula Vista Fire Department is on scene of a trash truck fire on Main Street in Chula Vista between the 805 Freeway and Melrose. Both the east and west bound lanes of Main Street are closed between the 805 and Melrose and will remain closed until approximately 4:30 p.m.
An alternate route to access the area east of Melrose is to use Brandywine Avenue. Thank you for your cooperation.
