Search warrant recovers stolen property worth $2,000 - Lisa Rigg arrested and expected to appear in court in January

INCIDENT: Search Warrant Leads to Recovery of Stolen Property
LOCATION: 39000 Block of Hillcrest Dr., Big Bear Lake
SUSPECT: Lisa Rigg, 55 years old, resident of Big Bear Lake
SUMMARY:
On November 16, 2017 at approximately 4:15 p.m., deputies of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station responded to a call for service of a suspicious person at a residence located in the 40000 block of Highland Road in Big Bear Lake. Upon arrival, deputies found the front door open and a female adult, later identified as Lisa Rigg, inside the house. The property owner was contacted and notified deputies that Rigg did not have permission to be inside the house.
Through investigation, it was determined that Rigg had stolen multiple items of property from the location. Rigg was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Big Bear Jail on felony charges of residential burglary. Bail was set at $25,000. On November 17, 2017, Lisa Rigg was released on bail.
Following the arrest of Rigg, deputies obtained a search warrant for her residence in the 39000 block of Hillcrest Drive in Big Bear Lake. The search warrant was executed on November 20th, which resulted in the recovery of the victim’s stolen property valued at approximately $2,000.
Lisa Rigg is scheduled to appear in San Bernardino County Superior Court on January 18, 2017.
