Theft of Property Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Wellington man has been arrested in connection to the theft of a handgun, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Jimmy Ray Green, 46, of Wellington, is charged with one count of second degree theft of property,” investigator Brain Smith said.
Green allegedly stole a Smith and Wesson, .40 caliber, handgun from the Owls Hollow Shooting Range. The gun was taken when the victim was downrange making adjustments to a target.
The handgun was recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
Green is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center without bond. He also faces additional charges.
