Good Thursday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Wednesday, 11/29/17.

-6800 blk Hwy 114, Smyer: Investigation. A deputy was dispatched to meet with a complainant regarding a stolen vehicle report that had been previously filed, and the deputy was provided new information about a possible location. Deputies are following up on the new information.

-2000 blk E. Ellis, Levelland: Suspicious Vehicle. A deputy responded to the area regarding a suspicious vehicle that pulled onto the complainant’s property. The information was collected and a close patrol was added for the area. No offenses were reported.

Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in all areas of the county, investigative follow-up activities, and civil process service.

Jail population as of 11/30/17 at 0800 hours: 46 in Hockley County, 2 to be processed, 12 out of county.
