Burglary and Grand Theft - Santee
Investigators with the Santee Sheriff's Station want your help in finding and identifying three men wanted for burglary and grand theft.
It happened on October 25th at a Walmart store in the 100 block of Town Center Parkway in Santee.
The men seen in these photos took eight Visa gift cards to the register. They asked for each card to be activated with $500. One of the suspects distracted the cashier by asking for cigarettes. When the cashier left to get the cigarettes, one of the suspects reached around the register and pushed a key that loaded each card with $500. Another suspect grabbed a bag containing the gift cards and other store merchandise. The three suspects left the store without paying for any of the items.
The total loss is estimated at more than $4,000.
The three suspects were seen driving away in an older model Ford Crown Victoria with no license plate. The car had a white front left fender and purple tinted windows.
If you recognize any of these suspects, call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
