CSX Railroad has notified us that the maintenance crew has run into problems with broken rails that need to be replaced. This will mean that the railroad crossings at Infirmary Road, W River Rd S. and Mussey Avenue (15th Street) will remain closed until as late as Friday, December 8th, 2017. The Track Crew will make every effort to re-open these crossings as quickly as possible.
The main Detour Route for the W River, Infirmary & Mussey (15th St) would be Oberlin-Elyria Road Murray Ridge to Leo Bullocks to Gateway and W River. The no truck restriction on Garden Street in West Way Garden will be lifted and parking restrictions will be in place on Garden Street between Barbara Street and Infirmary Road until the CSX crossings are reopened.
Woodford Avenue crossing will remain open while these crossings are closed.
