On Friday December 1st, at 10:07 pm, The Morgan Hill Police Department received a call regarding an adult male subject that inappropriately touched two female juvenile dancers during a performance at Sobrato High School in Morgan Hill.

The two juvenile victims disclosed being touched on intimate areas, by 36 year old Kevin Cole, as they completed their quick costume changes backstage during their dance performance. Throughout the investigation, it was learned that Cole was an independent contractor hired by the production/dance company while they were using the Sobrato stage for their performance. He was hired to work directly with the sound and lighting support of the production and NOT hired to work with the juveniles participating in the performance. Once this behavior was observed he was told to immediately stop assisting with costume changes by the Production Manager of the dance company and by several parents.
Cole was positively identified by the victims on scene. Cole was arrested for multiple counts of 647.6(a) Annoy or Molest a child under 18 years.
We are aware that Cole has worked with several other dance / ballet companies such as: South Valley Ballet, Hip Hop Craze, Music in Motion, South Valley Dance and the Charter School of Morgan Hill.
