Hillcrest Rd crossing into and out of Ogden Dunes is closed due to Southshore power outage and down lines 
Hillcrest Rd Railroad Crossings are closed. At approx 1005 am this morning Ogden Dunes Police and Fire were dispatched to the NICTD Commuter Lot due to down lines and stopped trains. One train is stopped on the crossing with downed power lines across the train. The crossing will remained closed for the next several hours while crews repair the outage.
Residents and guests are to use the rear entrance into Town thru the Portage Lakefron Park area. We will issue a all clear alert when the repairs are completed and the crossing is cleared.
