UPDATE: Name of victim released in Fatal Crash 
UPDATE:
Fruitport Police have released the name of the victim who died Saturday afternoon on E. Pontaluna Rd near North Point. Courtney Marie Frazine, 39, of Fruitport was pronounced deceased at the scene after being struck by a vehicle while jogging.
The 18 year old female driver, a resident of Norton Shores, is cooperating with investigators as the cause of the crash is determined.
Any witnesses to the crash who have not spoken to Police are asked to contact FPPD at 231-865-8477.

Fruitport Police are Investigating a Fatal Traffic Crash that occurred on E. Pontaluna Rd near North Point Drive. The crash was reported at 4:12pm. A Westbound vehicle, driven by an 18 year old female, lost control striking a 39 year female resident of Fruitport who was jogging on the South shoulder of the road.
The name of the victim is not being released until all family members have been notified. The driver was treated for minor injuries and released from a local hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
