Robbery Detectives Seek Assistance in Identifying Suspect

  The Berkeley Police Department Robbery Detail in collaboration with detectives from Alameda, Albany, Walnut Creek, and San Leandro, are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the man pictured here who is wanted in connection with numerous armed robberies in the above listed communities.    

The suspect who has been described as a black male adult ,40- 50s, 5-05 to 5-08, thin build, mustache, with white stubbly growth on his face. 

The suspect first began targeting Berkeley businesses on October 27, 2017, when he entered a pharmacy on the 1400 block of Shattuck Avenue.  He was unsuccessful in his attempt.  At approximately 8:32pm that same evening, the suspect entered a restaurant on the 1400 block of University Avenue.  He approached the register demanded its contents and then fled the scene. 

The suspect struck a third time on November 16, 2017 at 8:40pm when he entered a pharmacy on the 2600 block of Telegraph Avenue.  As he had on prior occasions, approached an employee, demanded money and then fled on foot.
