A Traffic Advisory From the Los Angeles World Airport Regarding Upcoming Lane Closures of the Sepulveda Tunnel at LAX.
Activity:
The Los Angeles Department of Public Works will power wash the walls of the Sepulveda Boulevard tunnel near Los Angeles International Airport, requiring overnight lane closures for four nights this week.
Dates:
Monday, Dec. 11-Thursday. Dec. 14, 2017
Time:
10 PM-5 AM (the following morning)
Impacts:
Two lanes will be closed each night, but traffic will be maintained in both directions. On Monday and Tuesday nights, the southbound tunnel will be restricted to one lane. The northbound tunnel will be reduced to one travel lane on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Passengers should allow extra time to reach the airport.
