Jury Duty Scam 
The Jury Duty Scam phone call is going around Fayette County again. The caller is using the name of a current Fayette County deputy and demanding gift cards as payment for missed jury duty.
The current caller even has a voice mail set up on his phone that gives the appearance you have actually called our agency.
The current caller is an inmate in the Valdosta State Prison. This is the case in many of the Jury Duty Scam phone calls. A quick search online will provide plenty of additional details on this scam.
The number currently being used is 770-324-6012. This is not a number to our office. This number could change quickly and is not the only one being used for scam calls.
